Started on January 1, 2026, the police station transformed into an exhibition—"Yau Ma Tei Police Station Light and Shadow Journey."
The exhibition recreated the police station scenes from the 70s and 80s, including the miscellaneous room, detention room, identification room, and armory, complemented by treasured movie props, making visitors feel as if they've stepped into the world of Hong Kong cinema.
In his opening remarks, Deputy Secretary for Food and Drug Administration, Cheuk Wing-hing, stated that the Yau Ma Tei Police Station Cinema Tour Exhibition is the second Hong Kong film-themed tourism hotspot following the Kowloon Walled City Cinema Tour Film Scene Exhibition launched last year.
