The "Bad Boy" Charlie, his extraordinary talent, he was known for his long hair, rebellious attitude, run-ins with club management. A notoriously combative, uncompromising style of play.

Born October 10, 1950, in Islington, London, he grew up just a mile from Arsenal's stadium.

Despite his clashes with authority, his deep connection with the local fanbase and thrilling performances on the pitch cemented his legacy as the "King of Highbury".

After a highly successful career at Arsenal, he went on to play for Derby County, Southampton, Nottingham Forest, and enjoyed brief stay in Hong Kong Bulova FC before retiring.
