The Sai Ying Pun Post Office was built by 1914. It is at current address of 27 Pokfulam Road. In other words, postal services have been provided from this location since over 110 years ago. So it is one year older than the old Wanchai Post Office's start (read here).
A branch Post Office was opened in the Saiyingpun district on the 1st May and is meeting a long felt want. 1

Hi there,
Thanks for the update. I wonder what other sections of the building was about. So the post office was in the same place. In this respect the temporary location at Water Street had been there because this location was being re-developed into the current Government Quarters.
