Jackie Chan born and raised in Hong Kong around 1954, from baby to about 7 years old he lived on the Barker Road, just down the road from number 35 Barker Road, we play often together in between 1961 and 1963 sometimes beaten up by him as he was 4 years older than me.
Jackie Chan signed a 10 years Kung Fu training contract with a Kung Fu master in Kowloon, Jackie left the Peak to live in the school from 1963 to 1973 until his graduation.
His father worked for the US Ambassador Marshall Green as a cook in Barker Road, later on his father immigrated to Australia followed Marshall Green's new appointment in Australia from 1973.

Hi h9430500, are you certain about the dates? His official story is that he joined the opera school at age 7 in 1961 and left in 1971.

Kung Fu Master Yu Jim Yuen had immigrated to usa los angles in 1973, the 63-73 duration is approximate but Jackie had returned to Barker Road during holidays from 61-63.
