This image of the most reverend Father Carmelo Orlando 和靈導 (Woh Ling Do) standing together with a Maryknoll Sister and a young parishioner, has been taken in front of one of the smaller alters at St Teresa’s Church.
Since the Sister had, at the time, been engaged in tutoring catechism, this writer has assumed that she might have come from the nearby Maryknoll Convent; but this may well be incorrect.
I would really like to put a name to this dear Sister. Is there anyone in the Gwulo Community who was a member of the St Teresa Congregation, or perhaps even a student at the Maryknoll Convent back in the day, who might recognize this dear Sister, and be able to confirm whether or not she is indeed a member of the Maryknoll Order.
