The tunnel seems oddly clean and well-maintained to be a forgotten relic from 80+ years ago.
The main tunnel appears to be about 1.5m tall and 0.5m wide, just barely enough room for 2 people to stand side by side (shoulders touching).
By looking at the ceiling and the tunnel wall, it seems the tunnel was dug by hand through sandstone.
