The block of buildings between Ap Lei Chau Main Street, Shang Min Street, San Shi Street, and Ping Lan Street was occupied by four buildings until mid-2023.
Rousseau Heights (with the Pentecostal Holiness Church Rousseau Memorial Church, Ap Lei Chau [????- ]) and Sun Ming Building are still standing. The two other houses on the western part of the block have been demolished and currently (Nov 2025) one new building is under construction.
This new building and Rousseau Heights are under scaffolding with green nets.
