Building at Castle Peak on the water's edge, owned by Cheong Hing

"A Recently Completed Building at Castle Peak in the New Territories, Hong Kong"

"Owner and Contractor: Cheong Hing
Architect: Hazeland & Gonella"

This 1938 photo shows the same shape of the lintels on the top of the two flat arches at the covered veranda section, as in the 1960s photo posted by Moddsey:

1960s Unknown House by Castle Peak Beach (North End) | Gwulo

Also, to the right of those two flat arches is a rounded arched window, which has a narrow opening on either side of the arched window, as in Moddsey's 1960s photo.

Both photos show the same gable roof at the top of the veranda section's two flat arches and arched window.

The 1938 photo, which was taken just after the building was completed, shows the sloping retaining walls bare, and there are no trees in the garden yet, as opposed to the photos taken in the 1960s which show large trees in the garden, also plants in front of the retaining walls.

Moddsey's post mentions the concrete structure built below the house, and it is visible in the 1938 photo which shows the square-shaped structure has a doorway next to a window.
