Vice Chancellor's Residence - page 1 of 3

"The residence of the Vice Chancellor of the University, Prof. L. T. Ride, is situated at the junction of Kotewall, Conduct, Hatton and Po Shan Roads, at the very top of IL 1877, a large area of land belonging to the University on which the three hostels, Ricci, and Halls stand."
Conduit Road is misspelt "Conduct".
 
"The architects for the building were Messrs. Chau & Lee who tried very hard, and succeeded, in producing a design which is different."
 
The article says there is:

Living room has a wall of glass and a fireplace;
Dining room;
Study has a fireplace; 
Pantry and kitchen; 
Two-car garage; 
Generous servants' quarters; 
Five bedrooms on the upper floor;
Three bedrooms have attached bathrooms, the other two bedrooms share a large bathroom; 
Built-in closets for each bedroom; 
Large store-room; 
Sewing room.  
The plan also shows a family room.
