In an effort to beautify the city, include elements of tourism and showcase the characteristics of the 18 districts of Hong Kong, the Drainage Services Department (DSD) announced the winners of the "DSD Thematic Manhole Cover Design Competition" in a ceremony held in November 2024 to mark the 35th anniversary of the Department.
As seen in the main photo, the "Blue House" cover design was the overall winner.
