8 Fung Fai Terrace, Happy Valley

My Grandfather George Joyee Wong bought this property after he left Sydney (142 Campbell Street, Surry Hills)  to live in Hong Kong. Number 8 was the last house on the lower Terrace.  Those Houses are no longer there.

This was a distinctive house, as it's the only one with a stepped front. That shape was needed to fit its location where the plot of land narrows. The house is in the foreground of this overhead view of the terrace:
