1930s Cameron Road

Looking into Cameron Road from Nathan Road. 

The buildings on the right were on the northern side of Cameron Road and called Durbar Villas comprising two buildings with four sub-divided houses. In the 1938 Street Index, a mention is made of the buildings being known as Dunbar Villas. Not sure if the buildings were renamed or just simply a typo in the Street Index. 

To the left of Durbar Villas was a vacant lot. Telephone House would later be erected on the site in 1949.
