ON FRIDAY, the 15th JANUARY, for the Transaction of Business as heretofore under 

ENTIRELY NEW MANAGEMENT.

In making this announcement the Undersigned respectfully INVITES INSPECTION of his Premises, and, while expressing gratitude for past favours, respectfully solicits the continuance of Patronage.

No pun intended but the business of supplying meat locally was cut-throat. There is a story behind this - this announcement was, in part, a public trolling of the Chinese butchers who tried to force the Hongkong Butchery out of business before.
