I think this is one of the photos that I omitted when I was uploading the photos from William Richmond Fell's 1928-29 Hong Kong album, when HMS Titania and the L Class submarines were patrolling the China Sea for pirates. I wonder if the name Ping Rocks isn't actually the official name as I haven't been able to find it. Does anyone know what these rocks are known as now?

Re: Ping Rock
Likely off the coast of Putian, China. See: https://www.google.ca/books/edition/The_China_Pilot/_ClBAQAAMAAJ?hl=en&gbpv=1&dq=ping+rocks.+china&pg=PA45&printsec=frontcover
Ping Rocks
Many thanks, moddsey - (my earlier reply doesn't seem to have saved). The rocks seem to be off Pinghae Bay on the east coast of China, which is exactly where the L class submarines were patrolling in 1928-29. Well found.
