Re: Canton Steamers
The photo very likely shows the steamer KWONG CHOW, owned by the Shiu On Steamship Company. This would fit to the date of 1903 as the KWONG CHOW had her maiden voyage on 15 December 1902. The pier shown is the company's one "West of the Hongkong Harbour Master's Office".
Note: I also found this photo and I was about to post it myself, that's why I knew all these details. More information will follow soon.
