Il s'agit soit du Jubilé d'or, célébré le 20 juin 1887, soit du jubilé de diamant, le 22 juin 1897. La rue n'est pas identifiée, peut-être Queen's Road ou Jubilee Street. Une danse du dragon est en cours au moment de la prise de vue. Ce cliché permet également d'apercevoir quelques pancartes de commerces : "Wai Woo. Gold and money changer [...]", "Yu Shing. Money Changer. Importer of tobacco & Manila cigars [...], "Yu Chong. Dealer in tea [...]".
