Unknown race in Hong Kong. Chinese Inscription on the bottom and reverse of the picture

An unknown race with my grandfather Chee Tin HO coming second. There is an inscription at the bottom and on the reverse but I am not able to read Chinese. (Update: this was taken at Sasebo, Japan on 18 October 1952 when HO Chee Tin was serving with the Royal Navy)
