This photo was taken by a soldier of the 25th Company of the Roal Engineers during a posting to Hong Kong 1905-19o6. It appears to be the "Look Out' on the Peak near the Belvedere, which later became the Peak Weather Station. ( Please comment if I have interpreted this incorrectly) What is interesting is to see this captioned as "O' Hara Tower ", the first time I have seen a reference to this name. The 1,800 ft height gives credence to this be the site of the later weather station. The strucure itself also seems to have been used for creating the later weather station by the addition of a circular wall .
