Panorama view from May Road c. 1908

Uploaded from the Royal Commonwealth Society, hosted at the website of the University of Cambridge.

See the panorama on the website with much higher resolution.

I think the panorama was taken in 1908 or a bit later. The reason for that is deducted from the progress of construction of the new General Post Office (see here). The Public Works Report for 1908 refers: All the walls except those of the verandahs were built to the level of the third floor. Compared to the four-storey Nine Arches building west of the GPO, this should fit.
