S.S. Rotterdam, was an ocean liner and cruise ship. It is now serving served as a hotel/museum and training school in Rotterdam, Netherlands since 2010.
The vessel was launched by Queen Juliana of the Netherlands on 13 September 1958, and completed the following summer.
The Rotterdam had been a regular visitor to Hong Kong.

Rotterdam cruise ship
My mother, Belle Reed, somehow met or knew the fitness instructor who worked on The Rotterdam cruise ship. She invited us on board for a tour when the ship arrived in Hong Kong in the early sixties. I cannot recall her name but The Rotterdam has remained a part of my Hong Kong memories!
