Kowloon wharves-passenger vessel approaching its berthing pier

The large passenger vessel docking at the nearby pier appears to be doing so without  the numerous tugboats usually seen today. Only one is visible.

From the sea surface disturbance at the rear of the vessel indicating propeller movement in reverse or forward, the crew may be attempting the docking maneuver with minimal assistance from a tugboat.

Interesting how far up the wharves frontage, the piers and large ships appear to be located.

The churned up water seems to be coming from in front of the ship's propeller, so maybe there is a tug out of sight there, pushing the back of the ship around so it lines up with the pier?
