I found a Notebook entitled "Now and Then"at my late father's house recently, belonging to my Grandpa John Hubert Bottomley, written whilst he was interned at Shamshuipo and Argyle Street POW camps in Hong Kong. It is not a diary as such unfortunately, as it is mostly filled with poems he has copied out from books, diagrams of constellations and card games played in camp, etc. However, it does contain some interesting snippets about Red Cross parcels received and lists of internees in various huts.
