Sheung Wan Possession Point
Possession Point is the place where the British army landed and occupied Hong Kong for the first time on January 25, 1841. The place was later turned into an open space for hawkers. Chinese call it "Da Da Di 大笪地". It was cleared and taken back by government in 1978 when the Western District was rebuilt. It later became the Hollywood Road Park.
