Tokwawan substation 1960 which belonged to China Light and Power Co (CLP) and its northern neighbor at 82-84 Tokwawan road - the 5 sheep battery factory (五羊牌電池 - 興華電池廠 1953). It still exists. It was so quiet there in 1960.

To Kwa Wan substation date of construction
CLP's annual report from 1960 says that workmen's quarters were built over substations in To Kwa Wan, Kwun Tong and Cheung Sha Wan that year, so it is not clear if substations already existed in those locations. It says that CLP had plans to build more employee accommodations like this.
