Danenberg was the holder of a Crown lease of a farm lot at Wong-nei-chong. In October 1890, he was fined $5 for failing to take out a licence as a keeper of cattle. The case of the Sanitary Board vs Danenberg can be read here in the China Mail dated 2 October 1890.
