Any idea who this J Moffatt was?
The lines seem to read as
"Made
during the command
of
Lieut Colonel
J. Moffatt OBE
Dec 1939"
A hiking team has found this along the watershed facing SW, not far from the trail. They've also found some white stones which is believed to form parts of the emblem ... not the one facing south above the construction site, this emblem is another one.
