I write about heritage in the UK and HK : The 1st Post Box painted blue was near Windsor Castle because it was the 1st to carry air mail over 100 years ago, more recently some have been painted gold in places that Olympic Gold medalist were born and most recently Yellow & Blue to support Ukraine. I haven't seen them dressed in green yet but perhaps they are in National Parks.
