Excerpt from the Hong Kong Telegraph of 5th June 1922 reporting on a race from the Hong Kong Gymkhana of 3rd June 1922. It shows that the pony named Jaybird is now owned by Hon Mr P.H. Holyoak. The previous month the same pony, an "Also ran" over three miles, was apparently owned by Mr Blank. This time Jaybird has taken 1st place over the much shorter distance.
