Centurion tanks unloaded at Kowloon docks from The China Mail page 3 28th July 1959

The first consignment of 25 Centurion tanks for the British Army being unloaded on the morning of 28th July 1959 at Kowloon Docks. They are for the First Royal Tank Regiment in the New Territories and will replace the Comet tanks. They "will be delivered in three train loads to Fanling" where they will be driven to the Sek Kong headquarters of the tank regiment.  

A second shipment of 26 Centurion tanks arrived in Hong Kong September 1959.
