Circa 1969. Looking south from the junction of East Point Road and Lockhart Road towards Yee Wo Street. The tall buildings on Yee Wo Street were completed around 1966/67. Mention is made in http://www.hkmemory.org/lux/en/002c.html that 1972 was the year of relocation of the stone gate to the main entrance of the Hong Kong Jockey Club's Beas River Country Club. For everyone's information, this photo came from me. I first posted it on the internet in June 2020 on "Wah Chai Group" Facebook page (https://www.facebook.com/groups/hkwanchai/permalink/10158623524907387/).
The photo was taken by the father of my secondary school classmate in the late 1960s while he was working at Jardine's Wharf at East Point.
