Behind the factory can be seen a dense area of trees, at the bottom of the very large factory gardens: 6 acres, and according to the Sunday Herald of March 3rd 1941, "one of the oldest private gardens in Kowloon". The end was quite wild, and my mother Kiki de Chaffoy referred to it as "my jungle".
