The Tonnochy junction is on the left of this picture in 1959. It shows the rest area on the waterfront between the Tonnochy pier and Stewart pier opened in 1957. The Gloucester road is behind the rest area. The vertical sign on the second floor on the left says it is a high school. The school is named Wah Kiu middle school (華僑中學) seen in this 1948 picture which was replaced by another high school in 1964. https://gwulo.com/media/43247
The company Yau Wing company (有榮) at number 152 belonged to Fok Ying-tung, one of the richest men in Hong Kong.
