A rare 1936 photo of the main gate at Kai “Tack” Airport can be seen in a collection of historical photographs of the Airfield/Airport near Entrance/Exit ‘A’ in Kai Tak MTR Station.
The man in the photo is Erik Blyth Nelson. He was posted to Hong Kong in 1934 as Assistant Superintendent of the Civil Aerodrome.
