This is the newer of the two Warren Street signs that were photographed as mementoes for the grandchildren of C.E. Warren just before the handover. The street was built in 1915-16 in order to house the factory workers and led to the Warren factory itself. The area was not built up at the time. In the China Directory the company name of "Warren" is rendered as "Wah Lun".
