Not an area we have many old photos of. Can anyone recognise any of the buildings to pinpoint where along Jordan Road this was?

One clue is that the road curves around to the left, which suggests the section between Woosung Street and Nathan Road.

The gap in the buildings in the distance in the old photo is the junction of Jordan and Nathan Roads.
The old building left middle of photo in front of the highrise can be seen in the 1960s shot.

Opposite to the old building, at the junction of Jordan Road and Nathan Road, was an old big house, which existed until early 1960's, I think. Every time when I walked past there, as a small boy, I had an eerie feeling.
