As ours was a charter flight, we did not enjoy the menu of the Majestic service. Nevertheless, the Coronet service was much better than the R.A.F. meals that we had been used to over the previous year. This leaflet indicates that the 'Coronet' Tourist class version of the Argonauts seated 54 passengers. However, as my letters home clearly state that there were 40 passengers (the usual 'Majestic' First Class passenger number), I can only assume that the chartered plane carried just the number of service personnel needing to fly out on that day. We certainly had plenty of room to move seats in order to get better views along the way.
