This is the second of two photos taken of Charles and Eileen Medley in Hong Kong October 1, 1947. Charles is on the far left and Eileen is the lady in the dark dress in the middle of the photo. The photographer is identified on the back as "Photo by Wong Sek Yoeng, 1st Oct. 1947 HongKong". This would have been taken when they returned to Hong Kong after the war.
When we visited Hong Kong in 2012, we went to the site of the former Water Police Station in Tsim Sha Tsui (where Charles had been stationed from 1936 to 1941). A gentleman we spoke to there speculated that these photos were taken in a room at this site. It would be interesting to know if anyone recognizes others in the photo or the location.
