A most unusual design in cars has been imported into Hong Kong, this being a Sunbeam five-seater belonging to Mr. Aw Boon-haw, the well-known multi-millionaire philanthropist. The front of the car body is moulded into a life-like tiger's head with jaws agape closing over the radiator, and the rest of the body is painted with alternate yellow and black streaks to enhance the illusion. It is easily identified with the well-known Tiger trademark medicinal balm.

It is understood the car was built to an original specification and had toured the Straits Settlements before being brought here. Many "hai-yahs" greeted its progress through the streets for its official inspection at Central Police Station.

See here for the Singapore version of the car.
