Hi David. Your upload of this event has had me looking thro my 1957 album again. Have these 3 photos taken inside and outside -hut 41 - Sek Kong -taken during the visit of “ Gloria”, rear of photos say-Sep. 1957,winds of 100 mph, resulting in death of 3 people. As you can see everything outside the barrack room was brought inside,but some idiots,! Insisted on going out,(could name them ). My recollection is that the rain was not has heavy or prolonged has it had been during May of 1957. Bryan.
