Immediately post 1945, many photos of views of Hong Kong that were obtained by servicement were of pre-WWII vintage. This is a commercial photograph. Not sure if there is one on gwulo to show the same scene and wider area. Regards and many thanks for posting these interesting photos.

Update: Jack's photo is cropped from the one below. Have another photo of the harbour sequence that had been taken a minute earlier that was dated to 1934. As the Gloucester Hotel clocktower is visible, looks like Jack's photo and the photo below is from the early 1930s.
