Vehicle loading ramp at the Kwun Tong vehicular ferry pier

Hi There,

I think there were there since the piers were inaugurated.  Both vehicular ferrir piers were using the same set of double decker ramps, together with its twins over in North Point.  The concrete columns were what's left when the connecting upper ramps were removed as they are in the way of the construction of East Kowloon Corridor, also seen in the photo.  The Google Maps URL should give you some idea.

If my memory is correct, one of my Uncles was among the drafting team creating the original blueprints of the Kwun Tong Piers.
