The shop's sign is eye-catching. Following its three-word shop name are abalone- sea cucumber - shark fin - fish stomach, all high price items. Those bags hanging above street level look like fish stomach.
In those early years, Connaught Road was the water front so this shop was only two blocks inland. This shop is longer there, and current street views show shops along this block continue to sell similar products.
