The movie shown is "Inyaah (Jungle Goddess)" ,an adventure film directed by J.C. Cook , starring Gayne Whitman. Released in July of 1934 in the USA.
The date is confirmed more or less (probably it's 1935), but there is no fitting place for it on Gwulo. Any ideas if this was a predecessor of Grand Theatre (Tsuen Wan) / 大光明戲院 or Hong Kong Grand Theatre (Wan Chai) / 香港大舞台 [1958-1976]?

Thank you moddsey, that was a quick reply. I've added a place according to your post.
Grand Theatre (first generation)
Sorry Klaus for the problem I have just caused ... I have earlier today edited the second-generation's title page which now reads "Hong Kong Grand Theatre (Wan Chai). Please use this link - https://gwulo.com/node/36797 for your main page. Regards, Peter
Pui Ying School
On the left we see a sign with 培英學校. It may be an early outpost when this Canton school^ started branches in Hong Kong.
It was mentioned as Wanchai 培英學校 in Kung Sheung Daily c.1933-35. [1] History on the school's website only recorded the Bonham Road primary school which
opened on 1st January, 1937.
For 1938, three addresses were listed :
84 Bonham Road
Middle School 9 Conduit Road
Junior Secondary High Street, Kau Yan Church [2]
^ since 1879
