Wyndham Street
Very nostalgic for me as my father's shop was in On Lan Street just around the corner abutting Oriental Embroidery & Liens. Nga Yeuk Beauty Parlour was where my mom did her hair, She brought me to Blue Bird once and they preferred Cafe' de Chine at the rooftop of China Building where my sister's wedding banquet was held. I was in the sedan chair once to go up to Caine Road with my maid and elder brother ( all in one sedan) which cost HK$1-. Rickshaw was only HK$0.50 then ( in the 1950s)
