St. John's College, 1950s

This photo shows St. John's College in the 50s, not long after it was opened in 1955. The rectangular structure on the bottom right side was the Staff Quarters, situated at about where the Third Wing (Wong Chik Ting Hall) of St. John's now stands.

Notice that the Pokfulam Road was very narrow at that time. The Pokfield Road Bus Terminus has yet been built. So this photo should be taken before 1958-59.
