This was the memorial pagoda dedicated to Aw Boon Haw's parents. This part of the garden was sold to a developer and turned into Ronsdale Gardens in the mid-80s. The pagoda was reassembled in a lower part of the garden, but with two of the sections removed (including the one with the Nationalist "sun" emblem).
