The above is an extract from a CNAC employee’s newsletter written by people who were actually involved with the evacuations by the airline.
Accounts in a number of books and articles relating to Madame Kung’s escape flight from Hong Kong include a variety of other VIP’s accompanying her. Many of those named conflict with other information and so probably speculative. However, the issues with the ‘dogs’ being on board are usually highlighted and held against her as yet another example of her imperious manner. The complete text of this extract says that the dogs were actually pets belonging to CNAC staff and certainly not anything to do with Madame.
