Compare this photograph with the one with the same name taken in 1958. The 'island' is still visible as a wooded hill amongst the growing high rise blocks. A few large resettlement huts can be seen on the low ground and some of the smaller ones are still in use on the slopes of Sai Wan hill, which is having considerable work done to stabilise the ground.
