Pottinger Peak

Tony and Brian on the rough path on the slopes of Pottinger Peak above the Camp Collinson Correctional buildings between Littl Sai Wan and Big Wave Bay.  In the 1950s almost all the hills on the island were covered in very short grass and you could roam more or less anywhere on the hills. I was told that regular burns were done in order to produce ash for fertilizing/conditioning the cultivated land.
