This is another one of the group of five photos we have had in our family but again have no idea who the people are or what the place/event in them is. Like the others, it must have been professionally done at the time as it has held up beautifully and the detail you can make out is amazing. It could have something to do with the Royal Engineers or scottish expat society in HK as my great grandfather was the head electrical engineer at the Hong Kong & Whampoa Docking Co. Ltd. when he died in 1947. I have tried searcing the letters that are on the flag on the right of the picture but have not been able to find anything that looks like it fits. Like the others, I believe it dates between 1915-1920 but only because the other photos in the group do. I feel like this one is one of the hardest to figure out of the group but any advice or suggestions about the people or events in the photo are greatly appreciated. No detail is too small!

Wow! Can't believe I didn't think of that! Thank you, it really does help having another set of eyes take a look.
The flag is still flying in Whampoa Gardan
You can found it in the rear side of the ship like building in Whampoa Gardan, Hunghom.
